We have never been here before but we stopped in cause it was the closest Mexican restaurant to us. Honestly, we loved it! I can't believe we have lived so close and never been in before. The prices were extremely reasonable. The food was great. The service was a tad bit slow, but the food was hot so that made the service okay!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Great food, large portions and full bar service. Also has a pick up window for call in orders. 2/14 TACO TUESDAY . All the ground beef or chicken tacos plus 2 side dishes for 13. Very large and overstuffed tacos.
Tried this place after looking at other places in the area that had bad reviews. I was so surprised, the place was packed, and for good reason. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were generous. Would go back for sure.

Great food! Very charming Mexican restaurant! The chips and salsa were delicious...i had to take a break and save room for dinner. I ordered 3 tacos with pinto beans and rice.. very yummy! Hubby ordered the del ray burrito, he said it was really good. Highly recommend

Enjoyed the first visit to this location of Carmelita’s Mexican Restaurant!! Service was decent, server made great food recommendations. I had the Steak Burrito with sides of black beans & rice. Excellent flavor for everything!! Generous portions as well!! Recommend visiting and they also have a wide array of options on their menu. Kudos to the staff and especially the kitchen staff for doing an excellent job!!
